Behind the Brand: Hippy’s Kitchen
The branding for Hippy’s Kitchen was crafted with a vision to celebrate individuality, cultural fusion, and the carefree soul of the 60s–70s hippie era. Everything — from the logo to the menu — is infused with retro charm, bold expression, and an inclusive spirit that welcomes all kinds of unique personalities.
Logo Ideation
The logo captures the essence of the brand with groovy, bold letterforms and a retro type style. The peace symbol cleverly replaces the dot on the letter "I", symbolizing harmony and freedom — the core philosophy of Hippy’s Kitchen. The font feels playful yet confident, just like the people the brand speaks to.
Color Palette & Visual Aesthetic
Inspired by vintage tones and earthy psychedelia, the palette uses:
Red for chicken-based items — bold and fiery, evoking warmth and spice
Green for vegetarian items — fresh, earthy, and connected to nature
Black and Cream for supportive elements — from design accents to backgrounds and side items like beverages or breads, these tones offer visual balance and a grounded aesthetic
This clear color-coded system not only adds visual appeal but also enhances menu navigation and communication.
Tone & Brand Voice
Casual, expressive, and soulfully quirky — the voice speaks to wanderers, artists, thinkers, and doers. It reflects authenticity, curiosity, and a sense of freedom, resonating with those who don’t just eat, but feel their food.

The menu brings together global flavors and local comfort with an artistic twist:
